Terrazzu Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

Grape variety: Carignano 80%, Merlot 20%
Production area: hilly areas of low Sulcis, in the south-western part of Sardinia. Calcareous-clayey soils, Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and limited rainfall, hot and windy summers. Vineyards trained on the espalier system with guyot pruning, planting density of 5,000 vines/ha, average production of around 100 quintals/ha.

Color: Intense ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense, delicate and fruity, with aromas of cherry and floral notes.
Taste: Soft, harmonious, with balanced tannins and good persistence.

Pairings: First courses based on meat sauces, roast meats, medium-aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 18°C. It is advisable to uncork the bottle at least 20 minutes before consumption.

Vinification: fermentation with maceration at a temperature of 24-26°C for 8 days. Aging in steel and concrete tanks. Brief refinement in the bottle.
